Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, acquisitions and organic growth fueled Aon’s expansion in the global insurance marketplace. Over the past twenty-five years, we have acquired some of the most well-known players in the insurance and consulting industries, including Hudig-Langeveldt, a provider of insurance protection for cargo ships founded in 1680.
